I found two sets of instructions online: one here and a pdf (I don’t remember where I yoinked it from). As I mentioned in the post, they’re kind of hard to decipher. The tricky part IMO is doing the bottom steps in the first link, which is going from step 5 to 6 in the pdf. After you get over that part, it’s just like folding a regular paper crane, and there’s a lot of tutorials on how to fold those. You’re basically folding a regular paper crane, except you’re only using 1/4th of the origami paper and only folding half of the crane.

My digital camera is out of juice right now, but I can try to get some more detailed images up on the “tricky part” later. Hope that helps!

I love the origami idea, I’m doing the same for my wedding. I really would like to do the origami crane envelopes, but unfortunately I haven’t found good and clear instructions on the net. Can you help me sending me the instructions or a website to learn how to do it?
